Uncle Dood's Donuts, Toms River, New Jersey

After hearing all the hype about this place, I finally commited to it. I've went to a couple other donut shops in the Jersey Shore area already so I had an idea as to what I was in store for.

Located on 4 Robbins Street in Toms River, New Jersey, Uncle Dood's Donuts is most certainly a place you have to experience if you are a looking for your fix of sugar. The store offers a new menu each month, with a variety of choices to choose from, you'll be leaving this place satisfied.

The month of February is People's Choice Month. As for me, I went with the Bed Rockin', Twixed, and Samoa. The Bed Rockin' was a vanilla iced donut covered in Fruity Pebbles...Yeah. The Samoa was just as good as it resembled the classic Girl Scout Cookie, a long-time favorite of mine. Lastly, I dove into the Twixed donut, which tasted identical to the great Twix bar.

Overall, I enjoyed my first experience at Uncle Dood's Donuts. The price wasn't too bad, as my group and I got 9 donuts for $10 and change. I would recommend it to someone passing by for a quick bite, as they offer single donuts as well.
